Hi All,

I followed one of the articles on this forum and I was able to do the cluster swap.

Since my 1998 Ford Ranger XLT RWD didn't have a tach gauge, I made a swap with Ford Explorer RWD of similar year and I was successful. All my gauges are working fine, that being said I understand Speedo would be off by small margin as explorer has 15" wheels and my Ranger has 14" wheels.

I have one issue though for which I am seeking help from you all. The OD light is not working anymore. I have checked the bulb is good.

I don't know if OD was working actually before in my vehicle as I have owned this for about a month, but the OD light switch on the shift lever was working before.

What could be the issue ? Have I messed up any wiring around the cluster when making the swap OR do I need to install the shift lever from the same Ford Explorer.

Requesting members to help me troubleshoot here.

Thanks
