How cold is cold...

In extreme cold everything is so stiff that the engine is working harder preventing the OD shift until the vehicle warms up.

Help ?? Sure, give more info. We're not mind readers. Engine state of tune, condition of trans, how cold is cold, how well does the trans work warm, all come into effect

its not too cold....the low at night is around 29 and by morning its in the 40's. by the time everything is warmed up it runs fine and the engine always runs smooth. is that enough?

possibly spit seal on the overdrive band apply servo
