yesterday went out wheelin with a bud, he has a 73 fj-40 spring over and 35'' boggers 90% tread, i have 6'' lift 33'' swopmpers. we came up to this steep ruted out hill clime, so i locked the hubs and went for it, truck was damb on its side because of the deep ruts but gave her hell and made it no prob, did it 4 times he only could get half way, it was pretty cool, have some bragging rights now, is it because my wheel base is longer, thats what i thought, any was, did it all with no prob, have pics soon.:icon_hornsup::taunt:

Sweet. My buddy has a 2wd ranger and he was keeping up with my buddys 4x4 jeep, well, at least on the general trails, and i'll be posting a whole thread soon. Jumped the truck at least 20 times.

Yeah, the longer wheelbase helps with hill climbs.

I couldn't have said it better... It's only true if you have pics to prove it.

:D

yep my brother thinks his heep is the shit until he gets left at the bottom of climbs,or can't take the whoopdy dos and dirt roads near as fast.i have yet to be able to drive over downed trees or big rocks like he can though

its sayin the pics are to big, wont let me down load them.

Open them in MS paint, go to "image" then "stretch/skew" and resize them approx 60%. THEN SAVE AS, a different file name so you keep your good large original.

94" wheelbase FTW! I LOVE that I can crawl over all that stuff, and turn around almost anywhere. I once did a 15 point turn so i could get turned around and winch out!

Yo,
Also, if you use imageshack to upload them, there is an option to have imageshack resize them for you.
