last sat we burned a couple couches. it was nice and warm :D. and i guess our flame looks like a dragon lol

hahahaha you know what i just noticed....in both of our fire pics theres a person on the right side running there ass away lol:icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

Hah we burn pallets, we can't make em that big though... we are either near a good water source and houses are too close or we are in the middle of freaking nowhere. But we did use my buddies sameri roof as a heat sheild to set behind while cooking hotdogs.

pallets are sweet too. the burn super hot but for like 5 mins. we threw pallets on the couch after the couch slowed down.

to put perspective on the size of fire.... the fire pit is about 8 feet wide and obviously the fire filled the whole fire pit hahaha

I miss bonfires at the beach... burning driftwood is fun... :D

You don't have to worry about littering with your cans when the fire is hot enough just to melt them when you throw them in...

How long did this fire last? How would I build a bon fire that would stay lit for several hours?

you would need lots and lots of wood and it takes a while to build a fire that big from just logs. but he and i both had big things to burn lol

Ive built bonfires out of wood that stay lit for hours, but i usually used a tractor to do it. Make a pile 20 feet across and 10 feet high and it'll burn for awhile.
