just posted this in another thread and thought it would be good to have in the tech library or something so thought i would put it here.

How to get a build sheet for your Ford.
You can get your build sheet for free by calling Ford at 1-800-392-3673. just be sure and have the VIN number handy and when you call push the button for other inquiries.

You can get your window sticker here. they go back 5 years i think

put your VIN number right after the = sign, no space, kind of like this

Didn't work for me either and I did exactly as directed.

I think it only works for back a few years. I've tried "88 thru '94 and got nothing. I've seen post where it works for '06 and up years.

LIES! I called them the last time this was posted in a thread (last summer) and have yet to recieve my build sheet.

the window sticker only works if the vehicle is less than 5 years old.
i would call them and try to get it again. i have recieved both my build sheets. the one for the 70 Bronco took a lot longer than the ranger though because of how old it is
