opportunity to trade for a '99 Jaguar XJ8 4.0l supercharged.

It only takes a few bad apples.... a relocated tree will still produce them.

Seems thats what they do, a few guys told me the same thing (swap in a v8) but small block chevys or ls1 nowadays. But I am in CA so I can do none such.

Might hafta pass...I may suggest he tries to sell it out of state...The rust belt seems to appreciate CA cars.

You actually could legally put a LS chevy engine in it. GM got smart, they took a LS engine, computer, wiring, smog stuff it needed, a complete package, and had it smog certified in California by the Carb people. If you put the whole thing in properly, they will pass it in any motor vehicle. Ford should step up and do the same thing.

Here's a article on it. https://www.drivingline.com/article...-ls-swapped-s13-that-california-is-cool-with/
