Opinions on engine swap?

a 4.0 would be alot easier but i dont have one and there are none that i can find but i already have the 460.

well, do you have the tranny and such for the 460?
if you do, go for it

I had a 460 daily driver once........ it got 9 mpg if i kept my foot out of it ..... impossible, I averaged around 6.

yep already got the tranny, transfer case, basically everything except the money to do it....anyone looking for a set of 4.56s?

think about it.. if done right you can out wheel the other guys with V-8's with a 4.0 if set up right. And it would cost soooo much less money and headache.

the 4.0 would be a lot easier but the 460 would be so much cooler. the only thing you would have to watch out for is keeping the rear end under it. big motor with big power in a light truck means wheel spin. cool at first but if you got bad winters it will be a pain in the ass.
