Opinions on/differences of BFG MTs and Firestone Destination MTs?

I think I've narrowed it down to one of these two. What are your opinions, which do you think is better? I'm about to get my new 33's next week Want to make sure I get the right ones. Thanks! Also, which ones are generally cheaper? I can't find local online quotes for places near me, guess I'll have to call around thank you !

Might want to check www.tirerack.com, you can check on prices, read reviews, etc.

I haven't tried either of the above mentioned tires personally, but the Destinations have been the #1 ranked MT on tirerack for at least a year. I have the Destination AT's on my truck right now and love the, they are great winter tires and have served me well so far. The Firestones seem to hold up well and are generally cheaper than BFGs. I know a lot of people swear by them, but I'm not too fond of BFG tires. In my opinion, you get just as good (or better) tires at a better price with Firestones. Just my .02, good luck with whatever you choose!

I love my Destination AT's too, great AT tire, quiet on the highway and are great off road... Can't say anything on the MT's though...

BFGs have a 3rd ply on their sidewalls, so they should be more resistant to punctures from rocks, tree roots, etc. while off road.

The Firestones will be cheaper though. I would expect mileage to be similar for both (I have BFGs and am more than happy with their overall performance. Around 16K miles and still around 70% tread left on my 35s).
