shouldnt the operation angle of the center u-joint on a D35 (or 28 for that matter) be as straight as possible on a unloaded, empty truck? mine seems to have a noticeable angle to it, almost like the truck was supported by the bumper and the axles would be hanging. not sure if that would shorten the u-joint life or not. i do seem to have a slight vibration when im driving down the road with the front hubs locked in. i think the cause might be a bent frame on the truck itself, last may i had to change out the driver-side ttb beam, i did put a new joint in there, but noticed the u-joint in the middle had a noticeable angle to it when it was all put back together. i set my own alignment and have stock springs, no stacked washers under the springs. should i even worry about it? before everything happened it seems there was very little if any operating angle to the center ujoint.

A little bit of an angle isn't detrimental to the joint, but can cause a slight bit of a lurching vibration while in 4WD on a smooth road.

Ideally that joint would have no angle on it at normal ride height however.
