i went to the local autozone and picked up some intake "stuff" for the rice burner's and made it work with my 2.9. all i can say is WOW. with 218000 miles on her totaly stock as far as i know. she will start to spin my 32x11.5 bfg all terrain's (yes the l/s still works in the rear and 3.73). i do need to get outside air into the engine area once its warmed up i can tell a little power loss. it was just given to me so she is a work in progress. it does look like the transfer case has been opened.

i am going to order a new driveline. i want to do the 4.0 liter clutch swap. new free flow cat(stock might be free flow) and from before cat over size exhaust .5 inch all the way back through a dynamax muffler. swap the front to a dana 35 and at same time do 4.56 gears, then maybe 4 suspension lift and loose body lift.

has 15x8 rims i think
32x11.5 bfg all trrn's
3" body lift

Sounds like you have quite the project on your hands, lets see some pics!

I like the idea of the 4 inch suspension and the loss of the body lift:icon_thumby:
