Only saves images as .url?

For some reason whenever I try to save a image (.jpg, usually) on firefox it will only save it as a url, anyone know why this is?

Are you right clicking on the image and clicking 'Save Picture As...'?

Flickr has a thing about most of their images! I have only found a few that I can save the right way!

I'm using firefox, and have no problem saving pics as pics, including from flickr.

Are the pictures your clicking on Links by chance??

And, you can always use PrintScreen to get a picture. No matter the website. You push the button, then you paste the entire copied image of your screen to paint or somthing similar, you could then crop out the Image.

No, like I said before I'm clicking "save image as."
