i was heading out to the truck this morning and suddenly i got a message from my buddy. "I NEED RESCUE" i thought he was joking so i replied and he told me that a front tire of his recently acquired Jeep just fell off and he needed help to fix it.

its a '73 kaiser jeep, made by mitsubishi.

he drives a renegade for DD but he has trouble with the tranny so he took the vietcong, as we call it LOL.

long story short the bolts snapped on the axle part where the knuckle is held.
lucky him it was in a parking lot.

of course a Ranger went to his rescue

this is the 2nd time a Ranger rescues him, a buddy on another ranger towed him when his renegade went clutchless

as a Jeep owner now he knows, always keep a Ranger friend around :icon_thumby:

In all fairness, that's not really a Jeep. It's a Mitsubishi clone of a Jeep.

LOL i know, it has a little plate on the interior that says built by mitsubishi under kaiser jeep license. the frame and axles are jeep tho

It looks like the ones our mail delivery people drove in the 60's. lol

Off topic, but did you just buy that 03 Ranger? Or is that the same one as your Mom's truck?

So after all these Ranger rescues why hasnt he figured out that he should get one?

yeah i think its the same frame/body design

its my moms truck LOL, but since i drive it and fix it and do maintenace on it i thought i should add it to my display

I thought so. It looked familiar. :icon_thumby: I should add our two other Rangers to mine as well. B/C I work on them.

yeah, i drive each truck for a week, that way both trucks get use and wear down even, sometimes we move both trucks, when she needs to use hers for another thing for example.

i would add my brother's truck, but i dont drive that one too often

Aside from the obvious axle damage that is a pretty clean looking Mitsu.

yeah mike, it looks in really good condition. drives pretty nice. hes fixing a kaiser right now, later he will fix a plymouth duster, later a mustang convertible and later this one too.

hes gettin me into gettin an old 4wd rig to fix and have as a wheeler and keep my truck as DD. depending of how things go on for next year ill be going that way

That parking lot is sexy clean! do trucks have to wipe their feet before entering?:icon_thumby:. USA parking lots usually have booze bottles and bodies laying about.:shok:
