Only 1 inch clearance between bumpstop and beam on stocker.....

Is that right? Its a 160K 2.3 96 ranger, and that's all there is for clearance.

Is that how its supposed to sit, or is something worn/sagging?

I'm sure your springs have sagged over the years. I was just changing my oil and noticed I might, MIGHT have 2" of travel before hitting mine and the coils are less then 2 years old.

Well that's twice as much as mine, LOL!!

I wanna do a 2" coil drop, but looks like I may already have it HA HA!!

I'll figure something out to do here.....
 
If you're doing the 5.0 swap, I think that compresses your springs about an inch. You may want to get some new springs, sounds like they have seen better days.

Yeah, I think your prolly right!! The front is quite bouncy, and I don't think new shocks alone would firm it up much.
