Anyone have any pictures opening or closing the one piece clips? I'm really starting to like  that fiberwerx 04 F150 conversion hood, but can't quite grasp how it opens when they have the bars through the nose. I know I've seen it one someones truck on here.

Thanks
Andrew

i dont think the truck with that clip on here has tubing going through the grill

the clips don't tilt/open close, they pull off all in one piece.though I sure someone has gotten trick with mounting thier to "open/tilt' somehow

My front bumper is removable by two quick release pins. Super easy and I didnt have to hack up the glass.

What are you using for the quick release pins? I'd be worried about them breaking if I ever got in an accident, granted so would everything else if you do it right/wrong.

Thanks
Andrew

They cant break. The bumper is still basically is tied to the engine cage as if it were one piece. The main tubes that would take the impact are 250 wall 4130 and the pins are out of harms way. It works really well and my friends hate me for denting up there bumpers out in the desert haha!:D

yeah it looks cool, but i hate it when you break off what would normally be your fender but since its on piece you just thrashed your whole hood and front fenders nothing like a fiber hood and separate fiber fenders
my opinion call me cheap or old fashioned

Its fiberglass it can be repaired.

soo if i lost the whole piece that breaks off in the desert i go to the autozone and pick up a perfectly cut out piece and glue it on

Learn how to set up the truck so you dont lose the glass. You evidently no squat about fiberglass lol

oh im sorry i guess if you set it up for me it wouldnt rip off after smacking up on the side of a hill or another truck in the race :icon_rofl:
get the point... if you tear up the fender by whatever reason ¨bad setup¨ or ¨bad driving¨ you can just swap with a new one and the integrity and structure isnt damaged off the whole thing.. just the fender...

If you cant afford to replace fiberglass and repaint it then you probably shouldn't be racing and if your sponsored who cares lol! Yeah its true you can just go and replace a fender if you brake it off but MY point is you CAN fix the fiberglass EASILY on a 1 piece. A 1 piece clip may not be for everyone but there is nothing wrong with using one. A fender hood combo has its pros and cons like a 1 piece. What I personally like about a 1 piece is It allows me access to my entire engine compartment, shocks, ect. It takes me about the same time to remove the clip by myself as it would most people to remove a 4 pin hood.

hey dave
soo where do you stand on politics and religion ... joke.. i will consider to stop racing thanks. i bow down to yoour superiority and knowledge yoda.

I wouldnt worry too much about breakin your fiberglass, if it breaks, il help ya put it back together and make her good as new. its really not that bad to do and takes a weekend depending on how much you broke :D. As for the pins, like dave said you will be hard pressed to break them.
