The last three days me and Oatmeal man were camping up off of Guenella Pass in Georgetown, Colorado.
We wheeled up a ways into Mt. Mecullein (sp?) to see the abandoned Wardolf Mine.
It was a sick trip, rain was a pain in the ass for us and Mitch didn't even think to bring a fawkin' sleeping bag. So we spooned. I'm kidding, I had an extra. But we still spooned. I'm still kidding.
After the Exploder 8.8" swap I have mismatched gear ratios (3.73s rear and 4.10's front) so I ran the entire trail in 2 high. The trac loc really helped out on the loose rocks and shit. The extended shackles and having 500 lbs of wheeling gear, camping gear, and my girlfriend and her best friend in the bed helped me keep traction in the rear. It was a blast.
Most likely the last time I'll wheel her with IFS. I'll be runnin a Waggy D44 up front with leafs. Hell yeah!
I apologize for the shitty cell phone pictures but thats all I got
Pictures:
On a firewood outing
Parked at some random other camp
Out of ordershot of the Wardolf Mine
(My girl, I still don't understand how I got so lucky as to end up with her)
If you look hard enough you can see the alcohol induced yellow diff cover with a melting spray paint smiley face
(Tilt Head 90* to right)
IFS: Stiff As A Brick
Another random shot
A roaring river
Some ruins from the Wardolf Mine
A nice little trail away from camp
Some weird ass triangle thing we found. I assume it's for satanic rituals
Trying to figure out where the hell to turn around
Sweet panoramic shot. That's me and my girl at the top of the hill
Can I get a hell yeah for the big CO?
