I've decided to install OBA in my 87 using the stock A/C compressor. I've picked up everything I need except a 12V pressure switch. Where would a guy get one ??

pressure switches don't care what voltage they take, it's just a piston or diaphragm pushing against a contact when it's at certain pressures, just interupt a wire like you would any other switch...

i would assume anyplace that caters toward semi trucks or similar. i know you can get them on ebay as well. i would also recommend using the pressure switch (along with a toggle) to control a relay, the relay supplying power to the compressor clutch.

Any pressure switch so long as its shut off is around 110 psi.
Even one off a household compressor.
I doubt one available at a truck supply house would do what you want, since normal pressure for those to close is 45-60 psi for the brake warning switch, and the compressor has an air governor, not electric.

I just picked up a cheapo one from Princess Auto
