We did that to a Jeep in college. Guy was stuck and we went in to give him a quick yank. His Grand Cherokee didn't have any tow points on the front, we couldn't get to the back where his receiver is, I jokingly said wrap the strap around his front bumper. They thought that was a great idea, and wrapped it around the bumper. My buddy got in his truck, gave it a little pull, I watched the front end stretch out about an inch and a half. Tried warning them, he said give it a yank. I backed up and watched everything forward of the core support go flying into the woods, and the jeep not move an inch Ended up having someone else find a trail around to the back of the jeep and was able to drag it up a hill.

WOW. At least the tow hooks were stronger than the mounting point that they were attached to. That alone probably saved one's life from flying metal.

99% of this accident is operater error. But it was still a good laugh.

"well thats what you do with these straps you just go." wtf this kid is a ****ing retard. that would of never happened if he would of just give it a little tug. lesson learned hear get the strap tight then give it some more gas dont just slam it into reverse and hold it to the floor. imagine if he would of used his hitch i bet he would of ripped the hitch off one of those trucks, i just cant believe this kid every time i watch it. the funny part is mom and dad probably bought that kids truck
