Old man from Texas

Hey guys,
nice site. very helpful. I'm an old man, and a mechanic I ain't. I'm on a fixed income with a disabled daughter so I can't afford much in any given month. Therefore, I try to be a DIY kind of guy. Any help from anybody trying to diagnose and fix my problem as cheaply as possible, would be greatly appreciated. And I'll try to do the same, if I can. thanks.

Hey Welcome! You'd be surprised at all the support and good people here. Lot of different forums for what ever problem pops up. Don't start calling you're self an "old Man", age is just a number, youth is an attitude. You have to get older but don't have to grow up. Jump in and enjoy!

Welcome - Texan - we will do all we can with what we got and spend as little green or silver to make it happen. The only expense I am comfortable with comes in the color red and a little clear - blood and sweat. I a sense this is truly The DIY Ranger Station - LOL.

from around Galveston. On Bolivar Peninsula. (Crystal Beach) We lost our house and the town for that matter, during Hurricane Ike.

I lived in TX from '75 until moving to Iowa in '89. Lived in Lometa, Lampasas, Temple, Round Rock, Salado, and Austin at various times.
