Old ex-SnapOn van refurb

You should be able to order them, they are quite nice. I believe they are guaranteed so if you tear a hole in one they send you a new pair. I used them when I ran/rode bike a lot more, and then they found their way into my hunting stuff too. Wool handles sweat management a lot better than anything else out there for me. DeFeet is another brand I used frequently, but I don't think they have the replacement guarantee. I really like their "Woolie Boolies" for cold weather. They make lots of different bizarre designs and I'd wait for them to go on clearance and get them for a few bucks a pair. I'm not really concerned with what they look like.
My wife actually spotted a Snap-on truck at a shop and pulled in and asked if he had any socks. He said it was a first for him, to have a woman flagged him down for socks, lol. I've never even thought about the web site, until now. Thanks.

From tool trucks to socks... go figure.

But since we're here...

I have bigger ankles and calves.

Most socks really are too tight and cut off my circulation. I bought several pair of merino wool socks called Loose Fit Stays Up on Amazon. About $14 per pair. I wear them fall through early spring. This year my original 2 pair wore through. They're really nice socks and I need a couple more pair.

When I'm not wearing sandals, in the summer, I wear Gold Toe socks. very durable and comfortable, not as hefty as the Snap-on's though.

Gold toe socks are very durable and will outlast anything else out there. They are comfortable, and their thick sides stay up without restricting the feet and preventing proper blood flow. The cotton fabric is also lovely, and it will surely make your feet feel comfortable.May 9, 2022

I use to have a variety of heavy wool socks. I got tired of having to sort them and pair them when doing laundry. I bought a few packs of the black dickies socks, now they are all the same.

not nearly as warm or comfortable, but it saves the effort.

I love how this guy wants to show us his new build and we are here with the attention span of a NAT talking about socks :icon_rofl:

That's ok, I have the attention span of a gnat too... And I find the costco 80% merino wool socks the best wearing and feeling sock for me. Iirc the price is $16/4-pairs.
