Ok guys, lets see your project lists....

To quote myself from my EV thread "Everything I own is a project, I want a not a project"

Made me think of my project list, and wonder what others look like. I'm talking wrenching projects only, no construction, DIY etc...just the gearhead stuff...anyways here's mine, in order of as I think of em....

- YZ250 smoker needs a top end. (I have most of the parts)
-My bosses YZ125 smoker needs some final touch ups before delivery.
-My buddys CRF250 needs a carb cleanout.
-YZF R1 needs a motor swap (already have the motor)
- Vespa scooter needs a tire and EFI idle issue fix.
-The GasGas trials280 needs a rear tire and muffler repair.
-Honda XR80 has a blown motor.
- TTR 90 has bent forks and cracked fuel tank after one of the drunk moto kids destroyed it trying back flips off a tree. (worth the footage)
-Chinese mini chopper bike needs a knock off motor, or a new owner.
-DRZ400 needs suspension TLC, and a few parts swaps.
-F150 needs a tire rotation and tune up, and bushings, and could use new brakes/rotors. And my left blinker is out lol.
-Ranger needs Ball joints, tire rotate, trans and diff's fluid swaps, and probably some bushings, and maybe elect fan swap (I have most of the parts). I'd like to install the hitch and bed rack as well.
-Ford Fusion needs tune up, oil change, and just about every front end part/bushing.

-My buddy just crammed in a Ducati Multistrada for some custom stainless exhaust TIG weld project. (finally something fun).

I will probably add pics and to the list.

Now I just need to fix my broken main water line, and were in business!

But here are the main ones:

Fix oil leak in the Buick
Install new kitchen sink
Find and fix minor coolant leak in the Ranger. I suspect the heater valve
Replace front door and storm door. Paint shutters to match.

A few of the list, and you are right everything I own is a project lol

tires need mount to rims and installed on wrangler
back lift springs need installed on wrangler, too
radio needs to be swapped with different radio in ranger
front struts need to be swapped with adjustable bilsteins on titan
riding mower needs new ignition harness and battery
bike needs new chain, sprocket, derailleur, and tire

not hard stuff, nor really time consuming, just easily pushed off in favor of fun things to do by procrastination nation member

I’m pretty much like 97RangerXLT.

Higher end items are:
- replace the broken drain pipe for the kitchen sink
- repair the shed roof that got damaged by a fallen tree limb
- take down the car port for the summer
- do the biannual oil change and preventative maintenance on the Rangers and the clown car.
- put in a garden
- finish the seating and pillars for the fire pit area
- burn the excess sticks and twigs from the trees.
- finish the remaining utility trailer side so it finally all has paint

The list goes on from there.

Run new plumbing in the house
Get HVAC system for same
Install solar panels, racking, etc.
New tires for Ranger, and struts, and cooling system overhaul, and...
Sharpen lawnmower blades
Renovate bathroom
Build and paint picket fence
Replace carpeting with tiling/vinyl planks in hall
New carpet for living room
Find money and time to do the above.

Just put up the martin house, mowed the small part of backyard thats mowable, rest is soggy wet, changed hhr tires from snows to summer
Mow rest of yard when its dry enough (june?)
change out escape wheels (still has winter tires on, just bought some new steel wheels & valve stems, waiting on center caps & a few more paychecks to get tires)
put out garden, this place came with 3 above ground garden boxes, going that route, sure will be easier on the back to get the vegetables that way, might not have rabbits either (can always wrap wire around box & plug it in too)
finish organizing garage
run wire from house to garage, so I can have a welder & a convenient way to hook generator up if needed
Start generator (monthly thing)
burn several small stumps in yard with charcoal
New back door, need a front storm door
need a lean-to on side of garage for tractors.
possible chicken coop & run
take snow chains off lawn deere
Im sure theres more, but thats what directly comes to mind.

I have been to the junkyard many times last summer. My reg cab Edge is slowly becoming brand new, but even as it does, my wish list grows.
1. New rear axel with limited slip differential and disk brakes.
2. A shorter set of lift blocks.
3. An electric fan
My longer list spills over into my friend's. We will go hunting tomorrow for still more parts.

-Replace front door
-replace furnace
-repair porch wall and roof
-build new flatbed for the 86
-replace a control arm, and both cab corners on the 98, remove bed and paint the underside
-move the cab on the 88 to the 97 frame, strip 88 frame of parts I don't want and scrap them, store the frame on top of the parts shipping container (LBF, come grab your engine and trans )
-take the bed off the other 88 I have and install on the 97 frame, strip useful parts off truck and scrap the rest
-strip the interior out of the 84 bronco 2 and install in the other 84 bronco 2, scrap the shell once the interior is out (it's rotten)
-Stick the Hi-Rider lift brackets and steering box from the 88 on the 84 B2 along with the 97 D35, 2010 8.8, 92 4.0/M5OD combo, and fixed yoke 1350 from the Hi-Rider, Remove the stupid 3 inch body lift, 2.8 and A4LD, scrap what I need to
-take the 93 Taurus 3.2, bolt it to the M5OD and start mocking it up in the first gen body swapped 97 along with the 63 inch leaves and Explorer 8.8

Half of the truck projects will only cost me my time so I think I'm going to focus on them first. Once my heat stops coming on I'll do the house projects in a weekend or two. Also Need to wire a 97 5.0 and 4R70W into a 66 Bronco but that's not my project, haha

My project list is pretty short.

'03 Buick Century
Replace all four brakes
Find and fix oil leak
Find and fix source of occasional coolant smell in cab
Replace noisy blower motor

Would do this myself but don't have a place to work. So wind up paying shops to do it. Real estate in my area is far too expensive. Priced most of us locals out of the game. All we can do is rent. And my salary limits me to apartments. Renting a house would require about a 60% pay raise to make work in today's market here.

I just make it up as I go. Then decide if it's worth my time to do. Mostly it's no, then the boss chimes in and it gets done. Sometimes I hate bosses.

Add “left front tie rod end “ for the escape. swapped my winter tures for the (barely tread depth legal) original tires today. Have a little play in the drivers side, guess that explains the tire wear Ive been seeing.
