I am having a real hard time finding the oil sender location on my ranger!
Some resources (link) online (link) say it should be by the cylinder heads, but the nothing near them seems to be it, and also these are not for 2.3l rangers so I don't know if it applies to me.
Anyone in the know on where the sending unit is on this model ranger?
On Rockauto there are two different "versions" for this part, both inexpensive so I have both of them, they are clearly different parts:
