Need to find out how to properly time the oil pump/can sender drive when installing in a fresh engine.
Engine is 2000 4.0 ohv.
TIA

'96+ kind of sorts itself, doesn't it? Set #1 TDC compression, clip the yellow alignment tool on top of the synchro, and drop it in pointing diagonally back-and-left.

Oil pump shouldn't care about timing. It just has to be on there.

Thank You.I have never done this engine before so was a bit confused on it. I do have the tool so will be good.
Thanks again
