Just a quick question guys. Is the plug that is located in the middle of the driver side of the oil pan the oil pressure sensor? If not, what is this? Mine looks a little rough around the edges and is leaking so I'd like to change it out, but not sure on its purpose or name. Its right on the side of the pan, right in the middle, well darn close to it.

btw its a 94 4.0

What you are describing is the oil level sensor, not the pressure sensor.

the oil pressure sending unit is on the front driver side of the engine....it looks like a mini coke can....
