is there any chance that the oil filter is making my oil pressure gauge to "wake up late"??
every time i start the truck in cold, the oil pressure gauge stays dead, and the check gauges light stays on, when i start driving and the engine warms up the needle jumps to normal, and the check gauges goes off. My mechanic first recomended me to use an motorcratf oil filter, not other crappy a** brand( very common where i live) because the original oem filter made by motorcraft has some kind of valve inside so the filter keeps some oil in the interior, and the cheap ones dont have this so the filter takes more time to get full of oil, and thats why the gauge takes more time to go to the normal area. once the engine warms up the gauge works fine
thanks!!

thanks!!
