For some reason when ever I start the truck in the morning the oil pressure and oil temperature gauges read 0 but after 5 to 10 minutes later they go back to normal. The oil Pressure gauge has always done this since I got it but now the temperature gauge is acting up. How do I fix this?

You have an oil temperature gauge?

Despite what it looks like, you do NOT have an oil pressure gauge. It's just a switch. And if it doesn't turn on when the engine is revved cold (and doesn't make a huge racket when you do that), it's likely an electrical problem such as instrument voltage regulation.

If you really ran 5-10 minutes without oil pressure, your valves would be clanging away. You wouldn't likely throw a rod or something like that, but you'd know there was a problem.

Replace the oil pressure sending switch. Located on the rear of the PS head, DG/WH wire. Easiest to see from underneath, unless you use a mirror from the top.

Replace the Coolant Temp sensor (I'm sure you meant coolant temp, not oil temp). Gauge ECT should read ~16.0 ohms hot engine, ~275 ohms cold. It's the one with the RD/WH wire. I think it's near the thermostat.

They share power from fuse 11. They do not share a ground. If the tach works, it's not the fuse.
