I have a 1991 with a 2.3 and was wondering if you are able to get the oil pan out with the motor in the truck.

I was able to lower the pan on my 91 stang 2.3 to replace the oil pump, but it was a ton of work had to raise the motor then cut wood blocks for under the mounts to support the engine as well as loosen the exhaust and a bunch of other stuff, book said can't be done but I did it, if your replacing the pump you maybe able to do it, the mustang was a much tighter fit, so crawl under there and plan it out if your replacing bearing I would say take it out, if its for a stripped drain plug there are kits for that and oversize plugs
