I have a 1995 ford ranger 4x4 with a 6 inch suspension lift and 2 inch body lift i am attempting a 5.0 swap from a 1998 ford explorer and i have the 5.0 sitting in and the oil pan is hitting the top of the cross member and part of the lift going to the cross member. there is no more room to move the engine back. Any sugestions?

There is a company out there that makes an oil pan and filter relocator for putting a 5.0 in a 4x4 ranger. I think it was 2 or 300, but it has the notched oil pan, dual sump pickup (I think) and a remote filter adapter to put the filter up behind the bumper like it was on the 97 4.6L F-150s.
