The oil pan gasket was dried the F out, so when I pulled it, the two "teeth" that stick up into the recesses in the block, at the back, broke off. I tired drilling them out with a small bit, but I can't get all of them out.

Any suggestions on how I can clear them?

Do you mean DOWEL PINS? Post a pic and help us out.

I'm at work now, but it's the two rubber knobs that extend up from the rear half circle part of the gasket. They fit up into the block, but I can't get them all the way in there due to the old ones being baked in.

I had that happen with that part. I got as much out as it could, cleaned it up so that at least part of the tang would go in. I trimmed it and sealed it good. So far so good. You could take off the rear main cap but . . . .

I just did the trim and fit...

I tell you what, changing the oil pan gasket is a pain in the ass.

I wouldn't wish it on a broke dick dog.
