So I'm new to these forums and rangers in particular. In the last weeks I noticed a drop of oil on my driveway. I tried to look where its coming from and snapped this picture. I'm guessing this is where the engine meets the transmission.. Anyone had similar issues with the leaking?

Hopefully it is coming from the rear of one of the valve covers or the oil pump drive gear on the top rear of the engine, and is running down the bell housing and dripping

If that is not the case then your Rear Main Seal is starting to leak and it will get worse fairly fast.
Trans and flexplate have to come off to install new rear main seal, it's not an expensive part, labor is the killer on this.
Lucas oil treatment may help for a bit, it swells and softens seals to hold oil better.

I assume it is motor oil and not AFT, if ATF then the front trans seal is leaking.

I checked didn't see any oil up top, but engine degreased everything this weekend so Ill be able to see where its coming from.

Buy a black light kit and put some oil dye in it too. That will help show if it is running down somewhere.
