Oil gauge issue... needle messed up

Anyone ever see this before?

Truck is off... when running it hits the tap and wont read on the normal gauge.... is this a common problem?

Mine did that after bouncing around at idle after running at highway speeds. I took the instrument cluster out, removed the clear face of the cluster and rotated the needle back where it belonged on the other side of the peg. I fixed the needle bouncing by replacing the oil pressure switch with one from the Ford dealer that they referred to as the "5 psi" switch. All is working well now. I hope this helps....
