okay every 3.0 owner is prob cussing the lovely postion of the oil filter above the starter, drips oil on starter and shortens life of the starter. is there a relocation kit available for this? the reason im asking is when i run my oil lines for the turbo(s) ill be installing ill prob end up using a "spacer biscuit" and running my lines from there to the turbos to the oil pan, and im not sure if my filter will have clearance problems, plus id like to move it to keep from skrewing my starter every time i change my oil. another thing, if i decide to upgrade to a 4.0 radiator and it has the tranny cooler, can i run lines to the tranny cooler and just use that as an oil cooler? just things ive pondered about when i looked at my trk and remembering how much of a PITA it was to change the starter due to oil changes cuz of stupid filter placement. the trk has been thru 9 starters in its lifetime and id like to change them as little as possible.
