Hi I need to replace my oil filter housing gasket, (1990 2.9) everywhere I look there are 2 sizes available (.103 and .141). Any idea which one or do I have to remove the housing to find out?

You could always just buy both. They aren't to terribly expensive right? Make sure the oil you see isn't coming off the valve covers instead.

Good luck!

That is my default plan, I just figured maybe someone knew off hand. Ive got oil coming from both. I was told to get the fel-pro blue for the valve covers

Yeah. The cork and rubber old style tend to break/dry out/ harden after a couple of oil changes. At least, they are easier to change than on a 4.0.

As mentioned above just buy both before you pull it, I would also suggest putting some Loctite on the threads to keep it from loosening later.
Welcome to the 2.9 club, oil diaper on the garage floor and burnt oil smell are the price of membership!
