Currently building a turbo 2.3 to go in my Ranger. Bought manifold flip kit for it that moved it forward. Wanted to know what people think of running the drain line diagonally down from bottom of turbo to original drain hole in the block(blue fitting)? I was told that there could be some possibility of blowing the seals in the turbo if the return line didn’t run perfectly up and down.

can you get straight boots easy from the top? some manifolds you can, some you die grind a bit and use shorty plugs with right angle boots.
