i have a 2000 xlt 3.0 4wd and need an obsolete oil dip stick tube. I'm thinking abt getting one for an explorer to see if i can make it work...

Hmm….. could someone get a spec of the block hole on a 3.0l? I could try and do some cross referencing for a “compatible” tube

Hole should be just behind drivers side motor mount just above oil pan
Get a handful of different diameter bolts crawl under and see what fits snug, measure it

Made progress today at least got the oem part # gonna be looking online tonight , factory mechanic is also going to do some research
