oil dipstick prob?

could an owner of a 99 or similar 3.0l please post the part number of their dipstick {the number on mine is at the end of the stick} i just bought the truck but the dipstick does not appear to seat completely in the tube and i want to be sure this is the correct stick, thanks in advance chad
