No! Not referring to you in any way, shape, or form! Flyingbrick was making a general reference to "customers in his line of work" and my comment was based on that.

No I'm with Jay FX4, I'm not calling anyone here a dumb@$$, I just don't agree when anyone says over power because you don't need it, at work i install 50-200W RMS speakers with an amp only feeding 10-80W rms and we rarely have problems with sound quality or longevity of the speaker.

And that does make sense. If you installing an amp that goes up to 80 watts RMS, that's still much better than what just a HU can put out. HU's go up to like 25 or so? So even if it's less wattage than a speaker is capable of, it's still going to be a big improvement.
