OH SCRAP! 88-89 b2

bent frame on my 89 2wd standard b2 trans and engine rebuilt in the not to far off past. I have a 88 eddie bauer 4wd automatic w engine problems and the lock on the rt is melted. is a swap possible if the wreck didnt damage the 89 (it still starts) should i scrap em and hope for better luck next time?
