My buddy just stopped by in his 1948 Ford pickup, got a 460 under the hood. Went for a little ride, man does she scoot!

I will go to my parents house tomorrow to try to dig up my camera, let's just say it's flat black, when you stomp on it she's loud as hell, and it pulls like a bitch.

Reminds me of an all Ford drag down at Bryon drag strip a couple of years ago. There was a '48' F-6 (1 1/2? ton) stake bed all restored running in the 12's. they're out there. Pictures also, got an old F-1 stored away in the barn and about 5k of trim stuff stored in the house.
