Well I got mt truck back yesterday. A complete engine rebuild. I have been chasing a horrible idle for a year. The heads were replaced due to a catastrophic overheat and the guy a Tidewater Engine Rebuilders said they did a horrible job. Some of the worst work he has ever seen. He could shine light through the closed valves. He actually hand ground and lapped each valve to its individual seat and reamed each guide for the same valve. Every valve was a custom fit. I can not begin to describe the difference. I had it rebuilt because the rings were bad also. They were not scored and the cylinder walls were good but the mechanic said molly rings loose their tension when overheated and that's why the were leaking by.





I am sooooooo happy to finally have it back and running great. 4 trips to the Ford dealer and was told each time that nothing was wrong and the heads were fine. WRONG.
