As close as you can get to an Ambulance with a Ford ranger is slide in one of those slide in campers into the bed....
-I was just looking though some of my old ranger papers yesterday and there was a paper with how to properly install and carry a camper in the bed and in bold letter typed under the title it says your truck is not capable of carring a slide it camper then goes on explaining how to install one.
-In the how to use 4x4 pamplet it says don't spin tires while of road keep then going at a stedy slow speed.

evendently they never gone mudding 'cause you'll get stuck ever time if you don't keep your wheels moving. but this was in the late '80s.
