My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Got home from running errands earlier and knew I'd be going out again. So I left the windows open. Fast forward a few hours. Working in the garage. Having a nice relaxing day. Wow. It's raining hard out there! Fast forward another hour or two. Look out the living room window. Oh, no!!! Windows down on the truck! I notice the headlights are on for some reason. Went out and found everything soaked inside. Puddles on the dash. Puddles in the seats and floorboards. The visors are even soaked. How does the headliner get soaked?!? The truck was "right-side-up" on its wheels like it's supposed to be.

So I wiped everything down best I could with towels. Closed the windows. Disconnected the battery. Tomorrow, it's supposed to be sunny and hot. I'll open it up and place a fan to blow up under the dash and hopefully dry everything out. Then reconnect battery and see what happens.

What a day.

Don't do that.

if you have a small humidifier, put that in there awhile. Mom drove through high water years ago and it helped alot in getting the water out. ( it was winter though, solar might work better for you)

I pulled the light switch assembly out of the dash and brought it into the garage and blew it out with compressed air. That should help.

That's going to take a couple hundred pounds of rice.

@ericbphoto . After you shop vac as much water as you can, Do it again. ( for real ) and then roll up the windows and put one of these in there for a few days. My wife did the exact same thing to our brand new Sante Fe, a week after I brought it home. It really worked. Says it's for an RV, so a little truck should be no problem. I put it behind the Drivers seat. My kids carseat is there so no feet were sitting on it. But when it all turns to liquid, just dump it out and put more crystals in. Repeat until crystals don't liquid.

Thanks.
I forgot about that stuff

May want to poke around your electronics that aren't supposed to get wet.

You're going to be amazed at how much really comes out. Most cars have humidity issues but. Meh. They're a box filled with fart and dead skin. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Let me know if you wanna borrow my ozone machine after it "dries" and you realize how much disgusting smelly mold those wet farts turn into.

Oh ozone machine... so many smells... so many memories...

No

No do not ozone a truck.

That smell does not come out.

Seriously

Smell my doody

Ozone made it so much worse.

The damp rid is a deodorizer
