Hey Folks,
I have stock FX4 16" rims wrapped in newer 245/75 R 16 GrabberA/TX and I'm looking for new rims with a bit of offset.
how much backspacing/offset would I need to get my tires poking out of my fender flares just a bit for a more aggressive look?
The stock rims I have are 7" wide, if I were to go to a 8" rim would my tire look stretched or look too narrow for the rim?

Thanks for reading

Factory Ranger wheels are all very close to 0 offset. So if you go from 7 to 8 inches wide with the same backspacing, that would move that additional inch of width to the outside of the truck.

Just my personal thoughts here...

The 245 is better suited on the factory 7 inch wide. Without checking my guess is an 8 inch is probably max width for that tire.

An 8 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inch backspace will most likely sit flush to your fender flare in the front... will still be slightly tucked on the rear (year is narrower then front).

I used 8 inch wide 4 inch backspace on my truck with 265/75/16's and the front pokes a little but the rear is still tucked.
