I have a '99 Ranger step side 4X4 in "Forestry Green". I want to go with the whole Forestry Service look and put old school black steel rims and small hubcaps on it. Either 15 or 16", with 265's or 31" tires, nothing too huge.
What stock Ford rim can I use that will fit the bolt pattern and over the 4X4 hubs without alot of modifications? Here's the look I want:

I was hoping for something more old school like this:

It's an '82 F100 rim, which according to the TRS fitment chart will work, but I don't know about the center hole size.

I can always punch a hole in the hub cap for the locking hubs, so no big deal there as long as the center hub will fit on the Ranger hubs. According to online sources the Ranger and the Crown Vic hubs are all 2-3/4". But you can't always trust the info you find on the interweb.

'98+ 4x4 Rangers run freakishly tiny center holes from the factory, I doubt there are too many wheels out there that won't fit because of that. I take it you have aftermarket lockouts (AEM or something like that?) I haven't heard of anyone having to change from their stock wheels when upgrading to them.

Some Rangers came with dog dish wheels. Might check delivery type Aerostars too.

My dad's '67 IH pickup had just what you need from the factory (same bolt pattern and everything) but nobody will hardly look at them anymore because they had locking rings...

The Crown Victoria wheels have the same hub bore as the 4x4 TTB Rangers wheels. The TTB hubs are larger than your 1998-2000 style hubs. They will fit. I run a lot of Lincoln Town Car/Continental wheels on my trucks because I have a Junk Yard full of Lincolns. Town Car, Continental, Grand Marquis, and Crown Vic all the same wheels.

I think I have a set of these rims:

and a set of plastic domed caps for them. I will have to look around for the caps. I know I have the wheels.

The caps I think I have are for a 2wd, but the only difference is the 4x4 set had holes punched out of the center on two of them.
