OE BI Paint Schemes

No fancy decals like you are looking for . . . but here is another take. My BII was solid black. I always go for the "old school" look ( see my Ranger ) , so I added Ford letters to the rear like the EB.I added an EB grille and white bumpers and wheels. Everything to make it look more vintage. I will also paint the roof white, just haven't gotten to it.

I've always been fascinated by the interesting paint schemes BII's came with from the factory. Anyone have any pics of Sports, XLS's, E.B.'s etc?

Here are a few I found. I like the BII hood decal, never seen a BII with one, anybody seen one before?

The paint is normal on this one, but it has a push bar and 'ground effects' of some sort. My 90 BII has the same ground effects

Post em up if ya got em.

Dang the pictures aren't showing up for me.

No they won't. It's a thing with photobucket, if you move or delete a pic it won't show up anymore. It's a pain in the ass if you want to organize pics after getting a bunch over time.

So far this is the only one I've seen with this paint color combination.

Seems to be factory from what the paint code says on the door.

The "banana cream" package? :D

I have seen the 73-87 Chevy trucks with a similar scheme and I have seen RBV's all one of those colors but I don't think I have seen one that is both either.

Wow I really like that! When winters gone and it's all clean up, I'd like to see more photos and feature it at the Bronco II Corral.

Absolutely . . its been sitting lately but I'm using it now. I have a few little things to still do to it this spring. Snow sucks, that's one reason I'm moving :) I'd be glad to get you some good pics. Here's an engine shot.

On the registration it just says yel/wht but maybe banana cream LOL. My boss at works calls it a bumble bee, so maybe I need to add black stripes to it LOL.

Petesponies - I've always liked Old School - that is one awesome Bronco tribute vehicle - I want to see more pics as well! And a 302...that's just awesome. I often wondered what a BII would look like with round headlights (I like the round headlights on jeeps). Stupid question - what kinda gas mpg do you get with that 302 and did you do anything to the interior?

Wildbill - looks like a creamsicle pop box...but I actually kinda dig it! Get you a "SuperBee" decal and put on it!

So far I'm getting 17 mpg. But this engine I built was built for mileage. So far it has done exactly what I expected, as good as the old 2.8. I haven't driven on highway for as trip yet. I will to see how much better it may get. I still have the factory 3.45 with a non OD transmission, so I want to change that, but can't find 3.08 gears for the front . . yet. I've posted a few times on here how I built the engine. So the fact is . . you can get decent MPGs with a V8 done correctly. Thanks for your kind words.

Also, interior is pretty nice and mostly original except I installed a rubber mat, full, in place of the carpet. That was my "old school" interior mod :) I spent mucho bucks having the seats redone. I found the original material some time ago and bought a roll. Its red vinyl, love it. Truck only had 58K miles, so it wasn't too bad to begin with.

That's an idea, thinking I need a few more black stripes firs though LOL. Can't do too much until I get the rust issues fixed though.
