is it possible to swap the feedback carb and intake from a 2.8 to a 2.9, along with all the ignition components... i found that the distributors use diifferent gears, but they should be interchangable.

Why would you want to?

I imagine so, but you also have to replace the comp, fuel system, and modify the hell out of it to get it working right.

because i fried the computer in the 2.9. i have access to a complete 2.8 with a bad camshaft, so i have everything i should need, including the computer from the 2.8.

unless the 2.8 computer will control the efi and all the other stuff on the 2.9...?

id just buy what i need but im on a low budget.

what fuel system mods would be necessary? just a simple low pressure pump, no?

nice, but i wouldnt know what to offer. you wouldnt happen to have the distributor and ignition module as well?

i got a ecm for a 86 2.9 with a five speed. 40 dollars shipped in the usa and its yours. dont got the dist. anymore
