I recently took off my Factory tires and rims and installed winter steel rims on my truck for the winter .After a week the TPMS light came on .I know that there is a sensor in the factory wheels which control th TPMS.Is there anything that i can do or the dealer can do to correct this problem without re-installing my factory rims. The air pressure is fine in all tires.

disconnect the bulb, or put electrical tape over it, put the sensors in the spare tire(if there not ABS sensors

i dont think you can remove a bulb anymore, most ipac are sealed units now

You can put the TPMS bands onto your current rims but that involves having all your tires re-mounted so I'd go with the elecrtical tape over it....
