Not sure if this goes in the 4.0, exhaust, drivetrain, or suspension forum. Please move if needed.

So.. i pulled a code for B2 EGOS not switching. I had a spare O2 sensor around so i decided to switch it. That's when I found this. Apparently my Front driveshaft made contact with my O2 sensor. Has anybody ever seen this before? I've seen other trucks that have way more up travel with stock piviot brackets than i do. And the pic makes it look good, it's really smashed and scraped up. This incedent also ruined the boot on my front slip-yoke.

this pic shows every little bit of "stuff" I have in the front left wheel. It is completely bottomed out. The bumpstop was even squished down. I have seen guys who are able to put their tire up into their wheel well, yet I've never seen/ or heard of this problem. My truck is practically stock up front, 2"spacers, and no sway bar. Any Ideas?

Not sure if this sounds stupid or not, but...
My radius arm bushings aren't so good. And if I got axlewrap with the front axle, that would cause my pinion to go up and down... although I would've had to have been decelerating or in reverse.
I think I just answered my own question, any comments/ ideas are still welcome.

How are you going to get axle-wrap on the front? That's a leaf spring thing.

If your radius arm bushings are shot, replace them. It's VERY cheap (< $20; $30 if you need the plastic rear spacers as well) and it will dramatically improve handling.

I'd suggest removing the coil spring on that side and articulate the suspension and steering with a jack. Adjust bump stops and turn stops so that you don't contact the HEGO sensor under any conditions.

New Idea:icon_idea:
I'm just gunna "lower" my suspension away from the truck, and not worry about it, till then I won't wheel it and I'll put in new rad arm bushings.

Oh,and BTW NAPA sells a kit ( both bushings, plastic spacer, washer and, a nut) About $13 per side, I've been through this 3 times already
