O/D Light Flashing.. Need Help!

I'll start off with a little background on the truck. It is a 96 Ford Ranger, 4.0 5 speed originally. The motor had a knock and the trans got stuck in 4th gear so I recently bought a 96 Explorer to swap motor and trans. I drove the Explorer home 200 miles. It ran and drove great. So my truck now has the 4.0 OHV out of the Explorer and the 4r55e trans. I also swapped the explorer computer into the truck. I am using my 1354 electric Transfer Case originally out of the ranger. On to the problem now. The O/D Light is flashing, obviously causing the trans to be in limp mode with very hard shifts. I am getting a p0707 code, which refers to the trans range sensor low input. Seeing this I tried finding any loose or dirty connections. I found none, cleaning everything anyways. So today I spent $65 on a new Range Sensor from O'reilly's and installed it. Still getting same p0707 code after clearing codes and O/D Light still flashing with trans still shifting in limp mode(full line pressure). I am at a loss, I have been trying to figure it out for 3 days with nothing changing. I have been searching every forum I could to no avail. If somebody knows of something that may help please let me know. I need this truck as a daily driver to commute to and from work. Thank you for reading!
