i get the fact that the ride with be way stiffer, but some people are saying its a bad lift, while others are saying that it is a good lift...any body want to help me out

IMO I think its a good lift if you arent gonna be going offroad and your streets are in good shape. If you are going to rely on a good suspension thats smooth and problem free I would look else were. Its one of those lifts that you get just to show off and never really take offroad. Thats just my opinion. Leafs are super heavy duty in the rear, fronts are a lot stiffer then id like.

Its because of the passenger axle drop bracket. Its a plate instead of a replacement bracket and it has the ability to punch a hole in your diff. Look at the RC picture and superlifts picture and you will see what I'm talking about.

If it's a 2wd then you'll probably be ok unless you really want to ride it hard off road.

I've had no probelms with mine on my Ranger and it's been on for well over 4 years now. I did change out the coils though to 6" SkyJacker ones. It does ride a little bumpy but I think that's because I need to do some work on my radius arms and maybe change my shocks.

It's one of the least expensive lifts out there, so if you don't have a lot of cash it's a good place to start to learn about these suspension systems and get a cheap lift.

Yea I have'nt had any problems with mine either except when I left the drivers bump stop drop bracket out and luckly the bracket just cut my breather hose clean off and scrathed the diff.

Welp im ditching my rough country crap. Just on those driveway ramps that you drive up, the bracket damn near touched the diff housing. I only had one setup and put the drivers side up on it and there was just barely enough room to get my finger between the 2. It was hitting the breather hose to. Very dissapointed to see that even just going over a curb it can hit the diff if you hit it hard enough lol. Honestly I wasted my money on this kit. Should of went skyjacker from the start.

Yeah, sounds like they're useless for 4 wheel drive.

So whos got the best lift out there on a budget? ive seen tough country but im looking fo ra Very complete kit at a bargain price?

Thanks gonna go read threw that right now

I read about the Tough country lift on that link as well and there was no TRS input, just curious if this is a better option then the rough country?

Also i see it dosnt come with a pitman drop arm, would that be a good option to add to that kit?

Thanks for the input, sorry to highjack but im sure the info would be useful

you will need a drop pitman arm for just about any lift. Only exception would be like leveling coils. Everything else like 3" and above you will need an arm. I got the skyjacker extreme drop arm on my rough country kit not and its perfect. The ones provided usually dont come close to were the steering needs to be.

thanks for the info, would the tough country be a better option thwen the rough ?

What are your plans for the truck. Are you going to be doing any hardcore offroading, onroad, mix, looks? Rock crawling, just mud, lots of flexing?

Mmmm probly mostly steet, some off road, basicly i would rather spend a bit more now, and not have the issue with the plate and diff hittin rather then hit it when i decide to go do something a lil wilder one day such as head out tp the dunes in michigan,

Wont be anything crazy but id rather not worry type of deal!
