LOL.. My wife told me that she doesn't consider it a truck if you are afraid to haul manure in it for fear of getting it dirty/ scratched etc.

I think I caught a good one :)

Altho I think the closest thing to manure my truck has hauled is 3/4 yard of mulch or 1/2 yard of pulverized topsoil.

Never really had a reason to haul manure...

You can buy it buy the bag for your garden/flowers.

With the fresh stuff I wouldn't put it in any truck. I would rather cut out the middleman and just put it in the spreader.

I think he has tried selling this before. Don't remember where he posted it.

And it doesn't even have stacks!!

And you can pay someone to build a 4bt swapped ranger for less than half that price and have lots more power and reliability.

It sounds like he has paid somebody to do a lot of the work that it has had done to it. I bet a little Mitsu Diesel would be a hungry mouth to throw money at...

Diesel engine work, bodywork, custom flatbed... I bet you could get a really good bill if you didn't want to get dirty.

These little trucks are a lot like antique tractors. For the most part if you pay someone to fix on them for you, you will quickly exceed even the most optimistic value of the truck.

If you want it done the best way moneywise is to do it yourself and write it off as a hobby and never expect to see the money again... just like an old tractor. We just redid a Farmall H and the paintjob was worth more than half what a restored H is worth not counting the engine, transmission, rear axle and steering work. Then the boom came down and right after our shop it got four new tires. :black_eye:

They know what they got into and are happy with it so that is the main thing but they are pretty much married to it unless they want to take a beating like this guy will on the price if they think they are going to get their money back out of it.

A guy here has a 86 4x4 diesel Ranger with extra engines and tons of other parts and is asking $5,000. I thought that was to high. I have been driving my new to me 2x4 diesel Ranger fo a week and am very impressed .
